Chris Henry died at 6:36 a.m. Thursday morning, succumbing to injuries suffered after he was thrown from the bed of a pick-up truck Wednesday, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Henry was in serious condition overnight in a Charlotte hospital, and was said to be fighting for his life as of late Wednesday night.
Henry was just 26 years old.
