I'm not really sure what else there is to say about the tragic and premature death of Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry that hasn't already been said today. I'll echo the sentiment that he seemed to have turned around his life. (If you haven't read this piece or seen this video, please take a minute to do so.) The team will wear a decal in honor of "Slim," which you can see here.
For more coverage of the Henry incident, be sure to stick with our NFL blog, The Trenches.
Big fistpounds go out to our friend C. Trent Rosecrans of CNATI.com for sending over these photos from Bengals practice today.
And an update from C. Trent, who says the Bengals have been told Ochocinco is not allowed to wear No. 15 in this week's game.

Thoughts and prayers to the Henry children. Less a tribute, more of a "look at me moment" for stinko.

Who are you, me or anyone else to judge how one person pays tribute to a fallen friend? That’s a pretty cynical view to take.

First of all, my opinion of Chad Johnson has nothing to do with the death of Chris Henry. Honestly Chris, do you think Chad Johnson wearing #15 in next Week’s game is an honest and tasteful tribute to his "fallen friend"? If so, we have differing opinions on this subject. But of course in "The Nati", it is about Chad’s feelings and his honest expressions. His reputation proceeds itself Chris and my "cynical View" is definitely warranted.

I guess you missed the Hard Knocks on the Bengels. Chad was all about winning for his coach to keep his job and all the stories about how Chad used to sleep at the practice facility during training camp. Sure he is over the top, but he understands why there is a a Pro Football League….because its entertainment. Say what you want, if it was not entertaining they would not be playing. To me I think it would be cool if the entire team could wear @15, but the No Fun League would not allow that. What if it was Peyton Manning, they would let Eli wear 18 i think. they might even cancel the games. I think if Chads wants to wear 15 he should be able to. I hope he changes his number to 15 next year so you look like a heartless bastard. I wont throw the card at you yet….but I can sense it.

Did you see him today? You think he cried for attention too? Look, I’m as skeptical as the next guy about Chad’s attention whoring, but this isn’t one of those times. Fake tattoos on his face and uStream, yes, but heartfelt tears and wearing a fallen friend’s number. Have a heart.

Nice of the NFL to quickly quash any thought of Ochocinco wearing the "15" for one game in tribute. It’s right up there with refusing to let Peyton Manning where black shoes in honor of Johnny U. when he died.

Next thing you know, the NFL will suspend tiger Woods from watching on Sundays now that he’s not playing golf….I know its dumb but the bob and wev started the No Fun League. Ye I’m a Rams fan……WHAT

Everyone gets through a death in different ways in how they handle it. Out of respect for the Henry family and those close to him I will say no more.

Chris and Chad were probably pretty cool, and my view is that-especially where Chad just changed his name and everything- Chris would want him to keep wearing 85 and maybe do something cool for charity with a touchdown dance as a form of tribute instead.

Well Im sure #85 will be wearing a #15 no matter how stiff the penalties, it’s about respect. I would be shocked if he isn’t got it on or under is own Jersey.

Maybe what Ocho-Crapo should do instead of jacking a jersey number or some ridiculous celebration in the end zone would be to do something reverant and tasteful. If he scores a TD, he should just take a knee, maybe scratch a ‘15’ in the endzone, and then just do a silent moment in honor of his friend.
