As I type, Washington, DC is being walloped by the snowstorm that's engulfing both the Northeast and the sports news cycle. I never thought I would say this, but it's a good thing the Redskins are playing on Monday night rather than Sunday.
Why? Because before they can play at FedExField, the Redskins have to move 25 million pounds of snow.
"The Washington Redskins will remove an estimated 25 million pounds of snow from FedExField in preparation for Monday night's home game."
Apparently they're employing upwards of a thousand people to move the snow, but still. TWENTY-FIVE MILLION POUNDS.
