It feels like just yesterday that we were watching the ominous video of Dallas’ Demarcus Ware being carted off the field against the Chargers:
But the NFL Network just reported that despite the neck injury that prompted the sequence above, Ware will be active tonight for Dallas. I don’t know what’s scarier: that the injury above could happen, or that a player that gets carted off the field could be back on the field five days later. Ware’s injury turned out to be only a sprained neck, but still.
Just on principle, it’s a pretty bad ass move to be playing less than a week after you got carted off the field in front of a horrified crowd. Either really bad ass, or kind of insane? And… That question encapsulates the Nat-ional Foot-ball League.
