More Injury News For Week 13

Jamal Lewis is not going to play this weekend due to…you guessed it…a concussion. It’s bad enough that he may go on IR.

Revenge Of The Birds reports that Kurt Warner split reps 50/50 with Matt Leinart at practice today, but Warner also says his blurred vision has cleared up.

Cincy’s Bernard Scott is not looking good for Week 13, so says Cincy Jungle.

It was reported that Bernard Scott suffered a turf toe injury against the Browns, which gave Johnson a significant amount of carries.

The Bengals official twitter account writes that “Bscott on crutches and in boot does not look good for sunday.”

With Cedric Benson returning, and Larry Johnson’s recent emergence, Scott probably wasn’t going to be a good play anyway.

Ahmad Bradshaw missed practice today and is still having problems with his ankle.

Week 13 Fantasy Injury Update: DeSean Jackson Very Unlikely To Play

Concussions are front and center this year in the NFL. A rash of concussions to high profile offensive players have made teams, and the league, very cautious about putting those guys back on the field. Brian Westbrook has been out for weeks and we still don't know when he'll return. Now the Eagles have another offensive weapon that is likely to miss time from a concussion.

DeSean Jackson says it's very unlikely that he'll play in Week 13.

"I don't think I can go," Jackson said. "I blacked out."

Jackson was unconscious on the field, the Eagles and Jackson should be very careful. But for you fantasy owners of Jackson, the next few weeks could be a large issue for your roster.

On the other side of the concussion/head injury ledger, Ben Roethlisberger is expected to play this week.

Cedric Benson should be a go for Cincy.

Clinton Portis is out for Week 13, but says a doctor has cleared him, but he'll wait for a second opinion on Dec. 7th.

Bernard Scott has turf toe, that's the injury that limited his second half carries in last week's game.

In another shot to an under-performing Giants defense, Antonio Pierce went on IR.
