Keith Bulluck Out With Torn ACL

Bad news for the Tennessee Titans: linebacker Keith Bulluck will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL during last week’s win over the Dolphins, according to The Tennessean.

Bulluck left last week’s game in the third quarter with what the team at the time called a “knee sprain”, and he underwent an MRI today that revealed the ACL tear. The Titans will sorely miss their veteran defensive playcaller, who had started 127 consecutive games for Tennessee, especially as they try to keep their longshot playoff hopes alive.

Titans LB Keith Bulluck To Undergo MRI After Leaving Game With Knee Injury

The Titans' improbable path to the playoffs might have just gotten tougher. Aside from needing a host of teams to collapse in order to sneak into the postseason, the Titans may also be without arguably their top defensive playmaker, linebacker Keith Bulluck.

Bulluck left the team's Week 15 win over the Dolphins in the third quarter with an apparent knee injury, according to The Tennessean. Bulluck did not return due to what the team described as a "knee sprain", and he will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injury.

Bulluck has started 127 straight games for the Titans, and makes all of their defensive calls, so losing him down the stretch would be a devastating loss for a Titans team that has semi-miraculously rebounded from an 0-6 start to get back to the fringes of playoff contention.
