You Stay Classy, Roy Halladay

Believe it or, that headline is written with total sincerity. No jokes, sarcasm or even snark. On Tuesday, Roy Halladay, who spent all 12 years of his major league career with Toronto until he was traded to the Phllies last week, took out a full-page ad in the Toronto Sun to thank the team, the fans and the city.

"My wife Brandy, sons Braden and Ryan and I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Toronto Blue Jays organization, its incredible fans, and the City of Toronto." [...] Halladay ... says in the ad that "Toronto will forever hold a special place in my heart" and that the memories "will last a lifetime and so will my gratitude."
