Charlie Frye, who made his first start of the season last week in Oakland's 20-19 win at Denver, but lasted only until he was knocked out of the game with a concussion, will reportedly get the nod as starter against this week against the Browns.
Raiders coach Tom Cable said Charlie Frye had cleared all tests relative to his concussion and is line to start "as of today" against Cleveland Sunday.
Frye practiced without limitations. Cable said Bruce Gradkowski, who did not practice Thursday, was improving rapidly but still "doubtful" to be available.
Before he can play (or practice), Frye has to be "symptom-free" from his concussion.
