Win And They're In: Cowboys Visit Redskins On Sunday Night Football

Landover, MD (Sports Network) - Tony Romo tossed a pretty touch-pass score to Roy Williams in the first quarter, and the Cowboys defense let it stand up by pitching their first shutout in over six years, as Dallas clinched the NFC's final playoff spot with a 17-0 win over the Redskins.

Romo threw for 286 yards on 25-of-38 efficiency, and Marion Barber rushed for a score. Dallas' defense held Washington to 218 total yards, sacked Jason Campbell three times, picked him off once and forced him to fumble once.

The win not only gets the Cowboys (10-5) back in the playoffs after a one-year absence, but it sets up a winner-take-all scenario for the NFC East title next Sunday in the regular-season finale versus Philadelphia.

Campbell completed 24-of-39 attempts for 199 yards, with Santana Moss logging 92 yards on eight receptions for Washington (4-11), which added yet another dubious distinction to a terrible season.

The Redskins closed out their NFC East slate 0-6 for only their second winless division schedule dating back to 1970.
