Earlier this week, Vikings running back/polymath Adrian Peterson was ticketed for driving 109 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Alive to the fact that it's probably best to live life as Peterson-like as possible, teammate Bernard Berrian has since been clocked going 104 MPH.
The current Vikings roster, of course, has a history of speed limit woes. In 1919, quarterback Brett Favre was issued a handbill by the town constable for over-velocitating his Model T Ford on a public thoroughfare. In fact, he was careering through the cobblestone high-way at upwards of 74 furlongs per day!
