Brady Returns To Field Following Arm Injury

As it turns out, Brady left the game after a hit to his arm, and not out of concern for his ailing finger. The AJC reports:

While the Patriots celebrated the touchdown, Brady trotted off the field and kept going, vanishing through the tunnel. He returned five minutes later, and following a Miami punt he was back in the game without missing a play.

For the time being, it seems apparent that Brady’s injury is not serious.

Tom Brady Leaves Game Vs. Dolphins

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has left Sunday's game against the Dolphins immediately after completing a touchdown pass to Randy Moss. Right after the touchdown, Brady headed to the locker room. We don't yet know for sure why he exited the game, but it's quite possible that it had something to do with his finger. From Pro Football Weekly:

There has been late word that Patriots QB Tom Brady's right ring finger might not be right.

Observers of his pregame warmups in Miami say Brady was smarting after several throws, appearing to look at his hand many times after them.

We'll have more details on Brady's status as they arise.
