Charlie Strong To Louisville? Florida DC & School Talking, Apparently

According to the Courier-Journal, Florida Defensive Coordinator Charlie Strong and Louisville AD Tom Jurich were apparently in discussions Sunday.  With the head coaching job at Louisville currently open, those discussions may have had something to do with Strong's interest in filling it.  Strong did not discuss the contents of those meetings, or if said meetings even took place, but did comment on his possible interest in the position.

"You want to be interested, but I just haven't had a chance to think about it. I was worried about this game and this game only."

Strong replied that he was only aware of UofL's interest from "seeing what's been put out on TV, that's all."

Many believe that the deal is just being hammered out, though it won't get done Sunday night.  Keep an eye on Louisville blog Card Chronicle to see any new developments and analysis.
