Things aren't getting any easier for the Steelers. After a last-minute loss to the Oakland Raiders (and that despite head coach Mike Tomlin vowing to "unleash hell" in December), ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Pittsburgh might be without star wideout Hines Ward when they take the field on Thursday against the lowly Browns. According to Schefter, Ward injured his hamstring late in the game against the Raiders, and he will be questionable for the Browns game.
Pittsburgh has dropped four games in a row, to fall to 6-6, and out of the final AFC wildcard spot. With games against the Browns, Packers, Ravens, and Dolphins remaining, the Steelers have no margin of error if they wish to avoid being the first defending Super Bowl champion to miss the playoffs since...the Steelers in 2006.
