According to a report from Orlando’s NBC affiliate, a woman is on advanced life support after being taken to the hospital from Tiger Woods’ Florida home early Tuesday morning. The call came at 2:36 am in the morning, and the mysterious patient—not his wife, who moved out of their home recently—initially refused to be taken to the hospital, according to reports.
Can we all just pause and reflect on how truly bizarre this story has gotten? And how surreal it is that Tiger Woods is the athlete giving us these storylines? Good lord. Did you ever think “Eldrick” would be giving us sentences like this: “The number of women who claim they’ve had affairs has climbed to 10.” Uhh… What?
It’s a story ready-made for the modern media, and this latest twist will surely be investigated to its end by any number of outlets. Sports blogs, gossip magazines, CNN… Everyone seems to be confused and captivated by this crazy story.
In the report above, it’s also mentioned that Tiger’s wife has taken up residence in another of his homes, and that Florida Police had wanted to take a blood sample at the time of his Thanksgiving crash. Woods had apparently been drinking alcohol and taking prescription painkillers earlier in day. Who is this guy?
But to the matter at hand: What was a random “middle-aged woman” doing at Tiger Woods’ home and what could possibly have happened that put her on “advanced life support”? Just when you thought this story couldn’t get any more mind-boggling….
