Granger To Miss 4-6 Weeks "Minimum" With Foot Injury

And the news officially gets worse for Pacers fans.  Yahoo's Marc Spears, among others, is reporting that Granger will miss "a minimum" of 4-6 weeks with a torn right plantar fascia

Granger is Indiana's best player, last year's Most Improved Player and likely a perennial all-star for the next 10 years ... and even with him, the Pacers had lost five in a row and are just 6-12 this season.  Their coach, Jim O'Brien, is on the hot seat, and fans are frustrated.  No time is a good time for Granger to get hurt, but now is particularly bad.  I guess the silver lining is that surgery isn't required yet, but by the time Granger comes back, will it be too late to save Indiana's season?

It's sad what's happened to that once-proud basketball franchise since the Brawl at the Palace in 2004.  Here's hoping things eventually turn around for them.

Granger Will Be Missed

It’s a shame because he still hasn;t gotten his due for how good he really is. This injury isn;t going to help, it’s hard enough to get noticed while on the Pacers of late
