Week 14 Add/Drop: Team Edition

It's Week 14 so there aren't a lot of adds and drops left to make for your playoff run. At this point any players you pick up are going to be injury replacements or wild shots in the dark. Instead of focusing on potential boom/bust potential of individual players there's value in looking at the Add/Drop potential of entire teams.

ADD

Cleveland Browns - If you just glance at the boxscore it looks like another Brownout: Cleveland lost again, they can't run the ball and Brady Quinn fumbled. If you dig a little deeper though, you'll see signs of improvement. Brady Quinn threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns, the 2nd time in 3 games that Quinn has thrown for 270+ yards and 3+ TDs in a game. New starting RB Jerome Harrison caught seven passes for 62 yards, including 2 touchdowns. WR1 Mohammed Massaquoi caught his second TD in three games, giving him more TD catches this season than Jason Witten. Maybe most importantly, the Browns' remaining schedule is favorable. Their next three are against Pittsburgh, Kansas City and Oakland. While next week's game against Pittsburgh doesn't seem favorable, the Steelers are reeling right now, especially without Troy Polamalu. If Bruce Gradkowski can put up some decent numbers against Pittsburgh, so can Quinn.

DROP

Denver Broncos -
The Broncos are probably the worst of the 8-4 teams in the league and things don't get any better with games against Indianapolis, Oakland and Philadelphia coming up. Denver is playing a two-headed monster at running back with both Correll Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno getting carries on a regular basis. Brandon Marshall continues to perform, but Eddie Royal's face is appearing on Colorado milk cartons. And even Marshall is a risk considering Kyle Orton's on-again, off-again injury. Nobody can risk starting a Bronco if Chris "The Human Turnover" Simms is forced to take snaps. Even that Week 15 game against Oakland -- which looks like a solid win on paper -- could be a disaster as anything can happen when those two hated rivals meet. This team could easily blow four games in a row, tumble out of the playoffs and take your fantasy team with it.
