Somewhat lost in all the excitement surrounding Allen Iverson's return to Philadelphia is the fact that the Sixers are not playing good basketball this season. In fact, they lost their 11th straight game Wednesday night, a 90-86 defeat at the hands of the Pistons. As you might expect, the guys over at Liberty Ballers are not too pleased about it all. Things are so bleak, but they have made a list of pros and cons of whether or not it's worth it to win games.
Pros
- Make the playoffs and get knocked out in the first round, again!
Cons
- Less ping pong balls.
- Eddie Jordan never gets fired.
- False hope that this team can win a championship.
- A slim chance that Dalembert, Brand and/or Green are traded.
- Mediocrity forever.
Yeah, so, that's where Sixers basketball is right now: it is seemingly actually better for them to lose games than to win. Fun times.
