Mike Tyson to Pen Scariest Book Ever Written

I've read terrifying books: The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett, World War Z by Max Brooks, I Can't Stop Killing: The Unauthorized Biography of Elmo ... there are some real nightmare-starters in the list, to be sure.

Nothing, however, will compare with what could be contained between the covers of Mike Tyson's proposed memoir, whose proposal is being shopped in secrecy to only five publishers in New York. There are two possible reasons for this: one, to ensure a high bidding price for the book; and two, to limit the number of deaths from sheer terror resulting from reading the manuscript.

If you doubt that Tyson's manuscript won't read like a cross between American Psycho meets Rocky, consider that these are all things Mike Tyson has said out loud and in public over the course of his career.

If you'd like to read whatever madness Tyson has been saving for the written word, just wait about a year and go into your local book seller. Scan the shelves, and then look for the shelf full of books all simultaneously smoking, growing, and emitting a constant plume of smoke and angry growls. Put on sturdy gloves, grab some tongs, and then take it to the register and purchase. It will be just that simple! (Warning: Do not taunt Mike Tyson's autobiography, or leave for extended periods around small children or pets.)

what an enigma he is.  one of the most brutal fighters of all time, and one of the most publicly deranged celebrities ever.  i am sure his writings are for the money, but it will be a horror story worth reading, i believe.  looking forward to it.  and may some of mike tyson’s demons be laid to rest with this book.  just maybe, mike’s fortunes will turn and he will become a part of society that we can enjoy.

Jesus, if you’re listening, please allow Mike Tyson to put this book out on tape.  I’ll never ask for anything else.  Amen.
