Portis Will Be Doing No Pass-Blocking Today

How much pass-blocking is Clinton Portis going to be doing at the Pro Bowl this weekend? Answer, in gravelly, odd voice: "Zero."

When the Clinton Portis reality show happens after his playing career is done, it will make the Big Lebowski look like gritty documentary in comparison. There will be at least seven costume changes and one musical number per episode, and after this video, there will have to be sharks. I don't know how you're going to work them into every episode, Clinton, but if you can invent Coach Janky Spanky and admit you will be doing "zero pass blocking" during the Pro Bowl, I'm certain you'll find a way to do it.

Wait, I 've got it: dancing sharks in costumes. Or, if you want to save money, just substitute Joey Porter, since I'm pretty sure he's at least half shark from his mother's side. (Dad? Pit bull.)

When you’re the best blocking running back in the NFL, you’re allowed to take the Pro Bowl off.

My only opinion of this is that I would hate to see another team’s QB get hurt because Clinton Portis did not make much of an effort to try to stop a charging LB from taking him out. Hopefully, Potis’s competitive nature will ensure nothing like that happens.

Lol, Im sure he will do more then enough in the Pro Bowl. Anyone who can’t tell that he’s messing around is out of there mind. Id be messing around to if I was the best blocking HB in the NFL.

Why should a player risk his career for a game that means nothing and most fans don’t even watch or care about? As an AVID NFl fan for twenty years, I’ve not once watched the Pro Bowl. I’m actually glad when my favorite players don’t make it. It should be cancelled altogether.
