Miami Goes For Big Money, Gets Hit With the Dreaded NIT Whammy

The Hurricanes found themselves squarely atop the bubble entering today’s first round ACC Tournament game against Virginia Tech. Faced with a must-win game to keep their NCAA Tournament at-large hopes alive, they lost ... badly, 65-47. If we were to sum the season up for Miami in game show form, it would look a little something like this:
