C.C. Sabathia Really Expects Five People to Live in This House Comfortably?

C.C. Sabathia has more money that you could ever even dream of making, and to further drive this point home, check out the transaction details from the shanty he just purchased in New Jersey:
NJMLS# 2908472
Original List Price: $15,000,000
Under Contract Date: 2/24/2009
Closed: 4/8/2009
Sale Price: $14,900,000
Transaction: CASH
Yes, he bought a 12,000-square-foot house for $14.9 million in straight cash, which I assume he loaded in that rental truck seen parked in front of the entrance in the photo above. And it didn't even come with grass. Although even after blowing nearly 15 milly on the house, he still has $145 million left over for landscaping and various home furnishings. His life must suck.

I know all the zeros make it confsuing but its actually $100,000. Maybe it was a straight cash discount?

Oops ya, you are right.. the zeros did fool me..

That’s even better! But actually a lot more than I thought he paid for it.. So I guess it’s a wash

He was gonna buy Daryl Strawberry’s old house, but- during the open house alone- seven people showed up and demanded to be paid for prior cocaine sales.
