The Most Inspirational Boxing Video Ever

You might see this sad, mulleted man trot out in flabby condition, throw slappy overhand punches like an angry toddler, and then get his magnificent hairdo knocked sideways for a KO in the first round and think, "that is the face of failure." In a sense, you'd be right, especially since the Quebecois announcers -- in between gales of laughter -- say he's never lost a fight in the street. (That would be "Sissypantsslapfight Street," judging from his style.)
But a long time ago, a man told me something brilliant: "Don't put your hate up -- put your weight up." Clearly, we need to all recognize a few things here. First, that the man has a truly awesome Kentucky waterfall, and that he is from Kenny Powers' hometown of Shelby, North Carolina. Second, that Shelby don't produce no losers or quitters, and that Brian Sutherland, after being humiliated in his first bout as a fighter, didn't quit, either.

No, he got back on that horse and actually fought another fight, where he gritted his teeth, stepped up ... and was promptly knocked out in the first round, because this is that fight, and Sutherland's other defeat was two weeks earlier.

So that's two inspirational lessons. One: If at first you don't succeed, try again. Two: If you try again and are beaten into side meat in front of a crowd again, you should quit and go work for your cousin detailing cars in the greater Shelby metro area.
