Jay Paterno Wins Twitter Forever

Jay Paterno is the son of Joe Paterno, and is in the family business as the quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He's also somewhat ahead of the curve technology-wise, having written blogs for the Obama campaign (Dad was a McCain guy who doesn't own a DVD player). JayPa is also a frequent Twitterer, and solicited questions from the audience last night. Iowa blogger Oops Pow Surprise happily obliged:
@JayPaterno I have a question -- guns for coaches on gameday? would cut down on unsportsmanship, imo.

Paterno responded with an answer that, as far as I know, wins Twitter forever:

Well-played, Jay Paterno. For his efforts, give the man a taser: I know he'll use it well, and his dad won't have any clue what this thingamabob does. Giving JoePa a weapon he's familiar with would be disastrous, though. I've been told he was an absolute terror with a pike in his youth at the Battle of Hastings, and a genius with a broadsword during the Thirty Years' War. You don't want innocent bystanders getting hurt when JoePa leaps into the stands with a broadaxe and starts swinging away. Better just to give him a musket, point him in the general direction of the heckler, and to let him do this thing.

Good article Spencer.  Really made me laugh.  Your material is pretty fresh.  Did you know that Joe Paterno is old?  Oh, of course you did.  Please get some new chops.
