Brazilians Won't Let Being On Fire Ruin a Celebration

You may not have wanted a Brazilian soccer update this morning, but if you'll take it for just a limited time I'll throw in a soccer player on fire! CALL NOW.

The incident seen above -- in which no one was seriously hurt, including William, the one-named Corinthians player set on fire -- happened during the celebration of Corinthians' victory over Santos for the Paulista Championship. Please note the most important element in this: no one stops celebrating, not even William, who just seconds after being TOTALLY ON FIRE decides to samba on into the party with his teammates. If this were New York he would have been swamped with medics and attorneys begging William to file a lawsuit; if this were LA, the heat from the flames would have melted some of the fine plastic surgery on the faces of the front row. And if this were Philly, someone would have thrown gas on him and booed.

If only this would happen to Will.i.am at a Black-eyed Peas concert.
