Pittsburgh Fans Remain Shockingly Athletic

It's not the best play ever made by a fan. That remains the drunken leap-and-catch of an extra point off the side of a breezeway by a ponytailed Bears fan in 1995, and will be the best forever and ever amen. (David Tyree, you come second as well, as you weren't drunk off a case of beer when you made your catch.)

While this isn't the best piece of amateur athleticism, it is mightily impressive in more ways than one

Being superlative fans, Pittsburgh fans understand the rules of internet video: have a theme song even if you don't need one, show multiple replays, and treat a miraculous heave like this with the respect one would afford a Super Bowl-winning touchdown pass. Well-done, Pittsburgh fans. Should Ben Roethlisberger harm himself in the offseason, open auditions should leave the Steelers in fine shape anyway. (Who am I kidding: Ben Roethlisberger rode face-first on a motorcycle into a car and still made the start. You'll be shooting for second-string at best, random Blitzburgh fan.)

That was Vick’s Steel City tryout… if Hasselbeck gets hurt again, look to see him in the Fish Market, adroitly hurling salmon around.
