I Don't Know About You, But I'm In Love

It's rare when you see romance blossom before your eyes, but I think the 4:30 mark in this video you can clearly see love born in the loving grip of a single rear naked choke. ↵

↵That is Cris "Cyborg" Santos choking out MMA Worldwide correspondent Aaron Tru with a rear naked choke, and doing so very quickly and with only the slightest hint of cooperation from the reporter. I don't think he's faking the knockout, either, since I've been choked out and the same process of grunting, eye-rolling, and instant amnesia looks queasily familiar. Ironically, I too woke up slightly in love and with no memory of what happened, but unlike Aaron Tru I had staples in my back and was sitting in a bathtub full of ice alone. And was in Rio. ↵In a strange hotel room. Crying. Again. ↵

↵Oh well, what I lost in the form of a kidney I picked up in the form of a wife who stole both my kidney and my heart simultaneously. (Once I tracked her down with the help of Interpol, of course.) Totally worth it in the end, especially since that sucker's sale ended up being a pretty nice down payment on the house once I got my fair share. Santos will fight Gina Carano on August 15, and the internet will pay attention because Gina Carano is OMG A HOT GIRL. ↵
