Rivers Cuomo Is Really, Really Into U.S. Soccer

United States Soccer needs an anthem. You know, besides the 1982 Quiet Riot classic "Flaming Out of First Round of the World Cup (Like a Bat Out Of Hell)" Enter Rivers Cuomo, Weezer frontman and soccer fiend, who recorded "My Day Is Coming" at home and put it on Youtube for all to hear.
0:17: Awkward realization someone is singing. Slightly embarrassed for Rivers Cuomo.

0:35: Now fully embarrassed for Cuomo. Looking around and whistling, avoiding eye contact with video.

1:18: Suddenly not embarrassed. Realize we play Brazil on Sunday. It's getting dusty in here.

2:14: Somehow, this song has gotten my shirt off, and has me in the love hut with Jodeci playing in the background. No, I don't have any plans tonight, suddenly sexy song about U.S. Soccer.

3:07: HE'S LISTING THE NAMES OF THE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM. Full swan dive into unironic sincerity. It's daffy enough to love.

3:38: Final refrain with backup vocals. I run around the room with lit sparklers stuck in my ears wearing only the American flag screaming "U- S-A! U-S-A!" to no one in particular.
