Other than seeing family and all that jazz, one benefit of being off for the last five days was being able to totally and completely avoid anything involving Brett Favre. Well, Favre has welcomed me back to work today with open arms. More appropriately, his family has done it.
About two months ago, a member of Favre’s inner circle blocked off 25 to 30 rooms at the Midway Motor Lodge near Lambeau Field for the weekend of the Vikings game against the Packers on Nov. 1.
So this is all really happening (again)? Barring a health setback, it's starting to look like more of a certainty that Favre will really come back and drag us through another season.
And don't worry about all of this deadline nonsense. I'm sorry, but if your team's quarterbacks consist of Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson, you'll probably be willing to accommodate Favre whenever he pleases, even if he decides to throw lefthanded.

Wow these reporters are getting slightly creative . Can we now expect to hear "a memeber of his inner circle" in place of "a source close to" ?
If it IS family memebers why cant we get names?
And is just a reservation that can be cancelled in case he decides wether or not to play – whenever that is.
I’m sure IF this truly happened it was a just in case reservation by the so called family memeber
