Maybe "understated" is the wrong word to describe Thomas Davis' whip. His car collection was even featured in Dub and there's a pretty extensive gallery online. Despite being about the loudest thing you could possibly drive, someone swiped Davis' $136,000 ride:
Davis reported to police that his 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Classic was taken sometime early Saturday from the front of his home on Grimmersborough Lane in the Providence Plantation community of southeast Charlotte.
What we have here is the beginning of a stupid criminals story because with a car that has this sort of detailing, how do you not get caught. I mean if you get pulled over with this steering wheel. How are you explaining your way out of that one? And this interior, how'd you pick it? You better have your story straight, otherwise you'll be stammering something about being a big fan of Grimace as a kid.
Then again, maybe whoever stole the car will find Pay 'n' Spray, get a fresh coat of paint and everything will be all good.

I’m not a hater. I hope he gets his car back. In fact, I will drive him home after he has to auction it off about a year or two after he retires.
