Rampage Jackson is having a much better summer in '09 than he did last summer, working on The Ultimate Fighter 10, preparing for a triumphant hometown fight with Rashad Evans in December for UFC, and not getting arrested after leading the police on a wild car chase through Los Angeles in a gigantic truck with his name and face on the side like he did last summer. As we said: 2009 is a vast improvement over 2008 for Rampage Jackson.
So much so that Rampage could be described as feeling confident -- nay, even frisky. Warning: the clip below shows Rampage Jackson making sexually suggestive movements with a female reporter. While featuring no nudity or profanity, it is certainly very suggestive, though frankly no more explicitly sexual than any interview you've seen between Brett Favre and any member of the media for the past five years. You've been warned, mature people who can make decisions for themselves.
If UFC ever makes it to major network coverage -- or god forbid, ESPN -- then please, please let this exact scenario play out again, but with Chris Berman or Lou Holtz in place of the reporter here. In the meantime, if you should see a Rampage Jackson in your neighborhood, be advised that while a Rampage Jackson is largely docile outside of the ring, he can be very affectionate, especially if you have a microphone and are female. It is advised that you do all filming indoors until an all- clear signal is sounded.

I know…this is where I am supposed to comment on how innapropriate and unproffessional Rampage is being. But I’m not going to. For those that have been exposed to Rampage before (not exposed in that way, you sicko) know….this is classic Rampage being Rampage. For those that don’t know what Rampage is all about…..Rampage is a funny dude who goes out and does what Rampage does.
These UFC guys are the real deal and live in a reality much closer to the average person then most high level proffessional athletes. I think the reason that this is true because these are athletes that know that a 3-4 fight losing streak and they are essentially back in the minors. They do not have the ability to cash in on name alone…..they have to be in entertaining fights to cash in on the money.
Personally I can’t wait for Rampage and Rashad Evans to get in Octagon and throw down after TUF 10. The trash talking leading up to it will simply be icing on the cake.
