Listen live as Minnesota Timberwolves President David Kahn contradicts everything else he's said for the past two months. The feed is a bit choppy, but the panicked hypocrisy is coming through loud and clear. In fact, he just suggested that Rubio, 6'4 and still growing, could become a shooting guard.
"We have no idea what the world will look like in two years," he says. Maybe Lebron James will sign with the Timberwolves, maybe there will be an NBA lockout, maybe Kevin McHale will re-enact the 1984 NBA finals and clothesline his T'Wolves coaching successor, Kurt Rambis, on the Minnesota sidelines. Who knows?
