I've always thought the funniest part about being a famous athlete would be the strange looks you get from neighbors that have no idea you're a professional athlete. "Uh... honey? There's a giant man walking his dog outside.I'm worried he may eat the kids."
"Oh don't worry babe. That's our new offensive tackle!"
Well, Shawn Marion has some really strange bedfellows these days. After signing with Dallas this offseason, the veteran forward from Las Vegas decided to put down some roots and purchase a home: right down the street from George W. Bush.
It looks like a great house, but a lesson for all potential Mavericks or Cowboys players, really: if you're rich in Texas, well, you're probably going to have some pretty unfortunate neighbors.
