Last weekend's college football was a welcome antidote to the summer malaise of sports fans across the country, but today was when things really crystallized into an afternoon of gridiron delight. The sloppy play gave way to shocking upsets, offensive fireworks, and late game heroics. Awesome.
The action began last Monday with Miami-Florida State, and continued this afternoon. Here's to hoping USC and Ohio State can continue the trend in primetime tonight. Oh, and look! There's USC Safety Taylor Mays:
