Michael Jordan went at former Jazz guard and Jordan poster fixture Bryon Russell in his Hall of Fame speech on Friday, and while some people didn’t like Jordan’s mini tour de force, I did. Why? Because screw Bryon Russell, and screw Jerry Krause. (Especially Krause. Idiot.)
As MJ’s word travels fast, it was only a matter of time until Bryon Russell caught wind of MJ’s HoF trash talk. Russell’s response? Bring it:
"I’ll play his a— right now," [Utah Jazz wing Bryon] Russell told Yahoo! Sports. "This is a call-out for him to come play me. He can come out here in his private jet and come play. He’s got millions of dollars. He can pay for the jet. He can meet me at the Recreation Center in Calabasas.
Russell’s comments were lighthearted in nature, but yeah, I’d pay to see those two old men go at it one more time. It’d be the greatest YMCA game you’ve ever seen.
