Street golf joins parkour as the latest French fad you:
a) See on the internet
b) Try on your own
c) End up in the hospital injured, or
d) End up in the hospital paying for someone else’s injury.
The sport is pretty much exactly what you think it is: hitting a soft (boo!) golf ball into holes found on the course, which consists of any street you care to play on. Let’s review: men, with pieces of metal they swing at soft but still potentially injurious balls willy-nilly on the crowded streets of one of the world’s biggest cities. This sounds great, but it’s missing two components: firearms and wild dogs. Add those two in somehow, and now you’ve got yourself a stew!
