After his 24-hour career demolition on UStream in July, NBA observers assumed Stephon Marbury's playing days were over. The troubled former star seemed destined for a career that better suited his eccentricities...perhaps as a reality television star or a carney. Now, comes word that Marbury might land someplace even worse: the NBA D-League. According to J.E. Skeets of Ball Don't Lie, the owner of the Utah Flash tweeted that he would welcome Marbury on his team. His "reasoning"?:
His fans want to see him play basketball as much as they want to see him swallow Vaseline.
But seriously, Marbury would fill the arena. Crazy sells. And that's the bottom line (yes, that just happened).
