With Michael Jordan set to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame next week, we're sure to be inundated with plenty of montages from his career. (Hopefully they'll skip over that bit in Washington.) This one, though, is particularly fantastic:
The highlights from his rookie year are great, the 80s soundtrack is freaking transcendent, and isn't it fascinating to see how reticent Jordan was as a public speaker at that point? I mean, the coolest man on the planet was downright humble back then. Also, what's now the "Got Milk? Rookie of the Year Award" was then sponsored by Miller Genuine Draft.
(Sips lukewarm Budweiser with lunch)
Ahhh... The good old days.
