Stephen Gostkowski kicks a 45 yard field goal to give the Patriots an early 3-0 lead. The Patriots got good field position after Leon Washington fumbled the ball at the Jets 17 yard line. They then proceeded to back themselves up with two holding penalties on the drive and Brady only went 1 for 3 for ten yards.
