The Great Blackouts of ’09 is not exactly becoming the epidemic fans feared before the season, but the problem is rearing its head.
Last week, Jacksonville was the first to have a game blacked out this season. This weekend, Detroit will become the second:
With about 10,000 tickets still remaining at the 1 p.m. Thursday deadline, the game between the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins did not sell out on time and will be blacked out on local television.
