If you follow any NBA players on Twitter, you know it's media day around the league. Guys taking awkward rookie photos and answering the same interview questions over and over again. Thank goodness we had Dirk Nowitzki around to spice things up a bit. He was asked about the offseason controversy around Cristal Taylor, a girlfriend who wound up in jail.
Q: Do you think it will affect your ability to trust people, going forward?A: I was really not the kind of guy that walked around and trusted everybody anyways, and it still happened, so it is what it is. I'm not going to change who I am. I always have fun with people. I like being around people here and there. I don't know. I don't know if it's going to change me a lot.
Obviously my goal is still to have a family, here sooner or later. So I'd better start trusting somebody here soon because my sperm is getting slower. That's how it goes.
My own emphasis added there, but ... yeah. Nowitzki definitely wins quote of the day around the league.
