We've all learned to spell Prokhorov, which in itself says a lot; I still can't get the name of a certain spiky-haired Warrior big man right, and he's a double-double machine. And there's every reason to believe that this sale, coupled with a Brooklyn move that will come true, makes the Nets a major force in the saga of 2010. But what about next year? With Vince Carter no more, Devin Harris the main course, and a roster that looks like a lottery team headed in the wrong direction, the Nets need to give us reasons to not just talk about them in the future tense.

Most Likely Breakout: How about, Devin Harris gets even better, staying hot most of the season, tightening up his long-range game and connecting the dots to make him a legit point guard? He'll never be on Chris Paul or Deron Williams's level, but is it a given that Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo will be greater contributors to the PG renaissance? So maybe he's low on teammates this season; that benefits both Harris's explosiveness as a scorer and gives him the chance to prove his savvy as playmaker. Right now, he's an extremely gifted guard; a year from now, Devin Harris could be a franchise player. Right before they go and sign two more.
