This comes from Michael Schur aka Ken Tremendous of Fire Joe Morgan fame (yes, that website is surely a more noteworthy accomplishment than writer/producer for “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation”):
If Zack Greinke goes 4 innings in his next start, gives up 30 earned runs, & records negative 43 Ks, he’ll have the same stats as Sabathia.
Two points that the likes of SI’s Jon Heyman would like me to note: He’ll still have less wins than Sabathia and he doesn’t play on a contender. These are the two more important measures of pitching dominance.
