Aw, But Pacman Would Have Been Such a Nice Fit With This Team

Pacman Jones CowboysWe posted earlier in the week on how Adam "Pacman" Jones had supposedly reached a midseason deal with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. Unfortunately, the report was rescinded soon after. And it's a real shame, as the guy who would have been the coach for Pacman seems like the perfect fit.

No, Blue Bombers head coach Mike Kelly isn't high on wild strip club antics (so far as we know) but he is apparently one for off-color remarks, as evidenced by him recently calling Saskatchewan "the crotch of Canada" in a recent statement.

Actually, it's worse than that. In responding to his team's spate of acquisitions from the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos, Kelly said, "“We kind of raided the toothless, green, watermelon-helmet-wearing people from the crotch of Canada.”

Ouf. Snaps to you for general coldbloodedness, Mike. To his credit, the coach later apologized, wishing he never made the comment. But it's just as well you didn't sign Pacman. He wouldn't want to stray too far from the crotch of anything.
