So, yes: the news of Iverson's impending stint in Memphis evokes the same sort of blasphemous juxtaposition as Michael Jordan's time on the Wizards. Stars don't always fade gracefully into the sunset. Still, once upon a time, Michael Jordan was the NBA's torchbearer, and Allen Iverson was a lighting rod for the next generation, poised to grab the baton. I could watch this clip 100 times:
