After the Patriots' Stephen Gotkowski missed a fourth-quarter field goal to keep them anchored at a 33-14 deficit, even the most hopelessly optimistic Patriots fans knew the game was over. The Ravens' Kelley Washington answered the Foxborough crowd with a hearty throat-slash.
Translated in English: "Hey! Hey, guess what? We are going to win this game; as a corollary to this statement, I postulate that your team will lose this game. It is almost as though the Patriots' chances of winning this particular football game is represented by a man, and said man has had his head separated from his body! This wound, of course, is fatal."
