If this is how Alabama fans are going to handle their national title, it is going to be a long, long offseason. (Well done, but still: for rival fans it is going to be one long nuclear winter of tauntdom.)
On the other hand: they made People of Wal-Mart this week, so feel free to claim another national title (internet division). That makes 842 by my last count.

FWIW, it also has a ring of truth. We have been inundated with whiners from each of those 4 fanbases about how we didn’t deserve our victories against them. Sorry if we find some humor in that.
As far as the Wal-Mart thing, it would have been in Austin this week if UT had won. Corporate sponsorship in college football ring a bell?
Auburn and Tennessee fans are a lot like Slinkys...neither are worth much but you do get a sense of satisfaction from pushing them down a flight of stairs
