It's that time of year -- the time when talented underclassmen bolt the college gridiron for the NFL. According to ESPN's Joe Schad, junior Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain is the latest non-senior to join the draft pool, leaving the Crimson Tide after quarterbacking their defense to a dominating season and national title.
McClain won acclaim as the top collegiate linebacker this season, taking home the Butkus award, as well as being called one of the "smartest players" Nick Saban has ever coached. The noted film junkie is expected to be a high first-round pick (H/T Arrowhead Pride).
