This was a pretty solid article from Sports Illustrated. Really, it's worth your time. There's a lot of quotes and details about John Wall, the best college basketball player since Kevin Durant Lew Alcindor Oscar Robertson/Jesus.
Did you know he's got 3.1 GPA?
So, yes. Good article. Just don't read to the end. Or look at the header, for that matter. Because for some inexplicable reason, the article's called "He's The Shizz" and ends with this:
As Wall departed into the cold Kentucky air after beating Louisville, you half-expected him to leave a jet contrail in his wake. After all, it may be fun to dance the Shizz, but life's even better when you are the Shizz.
To adapt a scene from Good Will Hunting...
"There are two certainties in life: One, don't do that. And two, you just ruined 1,800 words of perfectly good prose with one unnecessary, stupid gimmick. In fifty years, you're going to look back at this article, and realize that you never needed it in the first place, and John Wall was good enough to sell himself."
"He's the Shizz?" Maybe for Sherron Collins.
By the way, Wall and the Wildcats hit prime time tonight. They play Florida at 9 on ESPN.
