If you've never seen the show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, well, then you're like me. Missing out. I've seen about five episodes—just enough to realize it's hilarious, but not enough to be a full-on Always Sunny evangelist.
They don't even script some of it! It's improvised! And Danny Devitio? He like, one day just decided he wanted to join the cast! Cats! In the wall! Hilarious!
But even if you're not a devoted follower, Dennis' relationship system is pretty hilarious:
Demonstrate value, Engage physically, Nurture dependance, Neglect emotionally, Inspire Hope, Separate entirely. ... Freaking Amazing.
All of which is longwinded way of saying that our Kansas City Royals blog has come up with a system of their own. Having suffered through 4 years of Dayton Moore's tenure as GM, Royals Review unveils the D.A.Y.T.O.N. system:
D - Demonstrate Competence
A - Acquire ex-Braves
Y -Yield to Scouting Department
T -Talk About the Future
O -Overpay for Free Agents
N - Neglect Statistical Analysis
Learn it. Love it. Live it.
They expound on each point, and all told, it's a pretty brilliant takedown of the current regime in Kansas City. Check it out.
