Let's say you're the formerly untouchable New Orleans Saints. After a charmed 13-0 start that featured several "there's-no-way" come from behind wins, the team dropped its final three games heading into its divisional round matchup against the Cardinals and their unknowable, alien quarterback. So what do you do? What do you do?↵
How about resigning former fan favorite Deuce McAllister? Apparently that's exactly what the Saints have done. McAllister, the leading rusher in the franchise's history, hasn't played since 2008, but that hasn't stopped the team from bringing him back as a talisman/honorary team captain for this weekend's game.
All in all, an awesome move for the Saints to fire up their team and their fans leading up to one of the biggest games in franchise history. And if McAllister can teach his teammates how to move the pile like this, all the better.
